Important: 

1. Before weighing the soil, large clods of soil should be crushed to remove stones and wood chips.

2. The color of the test strip should be compared under good light to obtain the accurate reading.

Instructions:

1. Fill the clean centrifuge tube to the line 25ml with pure water first, add a tablet, cap the tube and shake to dissolve.

2. Use spoon to add two measures of soil sample into the same tube, shake it thoroughly for 60s, allowing the tube to stand for 10 minutes until the soil and water are stratified.

3. Immerse strip 10s and remove it.

4. Do not shake off excess liquid.

5. Compare against the color chart immediately to read pH. At 60s, read nitrogen test result.
