Guard the water quality in the tank

Ammonia nitrogen and phosphate in fish tanks are key indicators of fish health. Ammonia nitrogen mainly comes from the decomposition of fish excreta and bait residues, and a concentration of more than 0.02mg/L will damage the gills of fish, leading to poisoning or even death. Phosphate, on the other hand, comes from the decomposition of feed and organic matter. Excessive levels can cause algae outbreaks and disrupt the ecological balance.

Good water quality management requires regular testing of ammonia nitrogen (<0.1mg/L is recommended) and phosphate (to control algal bloom), and maintenance of stability through water changes, enhanced filtration and proper feeding. Let's pay attention to aquarium water quality and create a safe home for fish!
